It is built on years of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate care, shaped by not only Gina Smoot's career as a nurse and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner but her personal life as an uninsured patient, mother, and full-time worker trying to navigate ever-increasing demands.

Years of working in a healthcare system where profit often overshadows patient care and providers' schedules take precedence over patients' needs, Gina became frustrated with the corporate-driven focus and lack of flexibility for those balancing busy lives— forced to choose between family, work, and their own well-being. Motivated by this, she founded MidloMed to create a practice that puts patients first and provides the flexibility they need to stop putting themselves last.
